COMMISSIONING SPECIALIST

2DS Finland is renounced company based in Finland employing international candidates for Nordic companies. We are in need of full team of Commissioning experts.


  • Responsible for start-up and plant operations activities including equipment and system checkout, inspection for proper installation, review for correct design, and calculation of expected system and equipment operating parameters under temporary start-up conditions.

  • Coordinates start-up operations, including the direction of craft, and all other start-up activities such as flushing, chemical cleaning, and initial equipment and system operation.

  • Coordinates performance tests and calculates test results and heat balances.

  • Works with client at the site.

  • Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.

  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

  • Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

  • Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.

  • Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.

  • Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 4 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 6-10 years.

  • Having knowledge in the Pulp & paper Industry, know how of the boiler, dryer commissioning would be advantage.


Job Location :

Initial location would be Kemi, Finland after project completion candidate can be posted in Europe and in Asia, based on candidate's interest and resource requirement.

CHEFS

We are looking for CHEFS to their resort located in Rovaniemi in Lappish part of Finland.

If you have relevant work experience and would want to work in the heart of Santa Claus Village, apply for winter season and get ready for a unique adventure behind the Arctic Circle!

Experience truly Lappish winter behind the Arctic Circle with Northern Lights and tons of snow. Try an arctic sauna, husky safari, reindeer safari, skiing at Ounasvaara, ice-fishing, or go hiking in magical Lappish winter.

We are hiring CHEFS for following 3 profiles:

  1. Breakfast chefs (buffets lunches) and chefs for evening shifts are needed for preparing burgers and pizza

  2. The atmospheric restaurant offers culinary experiences full of pure, genuine flavors and features Lappish ingredients.

  3. The restaurant is located at the heart of Santa Claus Holiday Village offering food experiences with mixture of ingredients from Lapland and other world wide food styles. It is a cozy restaurant decorated with unique style and top-class chefs.
    - Chefs able to do high standard buffet and a la carte are needed

    PERKS/BENEFITS:

  • Finnish work contract

  • Seasonal job: from November 2022 till March 2023

  • Salary: 13-16€ per hour depends on the position and experience + extras

  • Extras for working on public holidays and Sundays (100%), evening shifts 18:00-24:00(+1,30€/h)

  • Working Schedule: 112,5 h/3 weeks

  • Possibilities to do overtime during high season

  • Working in an international and multicultural environment

  • Staff discounts in the restaurant and shops in the resort

  • Accommodation: provided by employer, paid by employee, cost 250 €/month/person/ double room (or 450€/month/single room)

  • Accommodation is distanced from the workplace 4-15 km (company car available for staff use)

WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Previous work experience in cooking in a restaurant (at least 2 years)

  • Graduated in gastronomy

  • English language on communicative level (level B1)

  • Can-do attitude 

  • Ability to keep up good team spirit

RESGISTERED NURSES

Education, skills and work experience


- bachelor of science in nursing or GNM, registered and licensed

- work experience: several years

- good skills in English

- good skills in ICT (MS office, e-mail, internet)


Personality

- strong will to be able to join different culture and back ground that will support it

- ability to be able to handle changes and over come them

- good ability to survive stress

- willingness to work in nursing home and as a member of a team

- motivation to work with aged/disabled patients

- willingness to stay for long or permanently in Finland

- initiative, but able to admit if not knowing what to do and ability to ask for help

- positive attitude

- ability to listen people and ability to co-operate


Other things:

- applicant can be unemployed, but must have previous work experience

- willingness to learn Finnish already in own country and in Finland and to commit to study (verbal and written) - to have courage to use Finnish language even if it is not fluent

- willingness to study practical nursing

- female and male applicants are requested

- good physics and strong enough to carry heavy patients

- hobbies are taken as advantage

- age between 24-40 years
